Capuano's Pizza has been a community staple in Pataskala since 1977 and yes, that means we've been serving up incredible pizza for over 45 years! So when longtime owners the Flegles announced their retirement, the pizza shop couldn't have been in better hands.
Enter Ashlee Powell and Heather Schmidt best friends for over 20 years, familiar faces around Capuano's, and two women who practically grew up in this restaurant. They both started working here back in high school, so when the time came to carry on the legacy, stepping up was a natural fit. This place has always been a part of who they are.
Ashlee and Heather made a commitment from the start keep the same beloved recipes and ingredients that Capuano's customers have always loved, preserve that cozy small town pizza house charm, and put their own spin on things with exciting new menu items and a freshened-up dining room. Same heart, same soul, with a little something new to love.
And the best part? They're not just owners, they're neighbors. Ashlee and Heather both grew up right here in this community and are proud to be raising their own families here too.
